Weekend tickets cover entry from 12pm on Friday until midday on Monday. Camping in tents is included. Day tickets are also available but they do not include camping.
Weekend ticket holders will be able to access the site from 12pm on Friday 1st July until 9pm that evening. On Saturday 2nd July the gates will re-open at 9am. Sunday gate opening is 11am. Please note that the gates will close for entry at 9pm on Saturday night and 6pm on Sunday afternoon.
There is one main stage at SouthCider Festival so you can get comfy for the day and see everything without trekking around. We have 21 great acts lined up for the weekend.
As well as the live music there will be a bar serving the best local ciders, ales & a selection of spirits and soft drinks. Locally sourced will be served by throughout the festival starting each day with a great breakfast menu and then moving on to some hearty meals and snacks, of which most will have been grown or reared on the farm. Prices will be very reasonable – pints of cider or ale start at only £3.50.
There will be a good choice of vegetarian food also with vegan options available. All the vegetarian food is prepared separately from the other food.
You may bring a reasonable amount of your own food and drink for personal consumption on the camp-site but only food and drink purchased at SouthCider may be consumed in the festival area. No bottles will be allowed onto the site. Supporting the bar is vital to keeping ticket and bar prices down. Personal alcohol limits on entry to campsite are 12 cans beer/cider or 3 litres of wine/cider (boxes only). Strictly no spirits.
Yes, although you will need a pass for live in vehicles – they are £15.
Yes, you can bring your Camper Van or Caravan. There are no electrical/water hook ups and you will have to pay the live in vehicle subsidy. A steward will direct you to the area reserved for this. Use of generators is not permitted between 11pm & 10am.
There are plenty of toilets & urinals. Showers are available for a nominal charge at the farmhouse – £1 per 5 minutes and you will need £1 coins to use them.
Unfortunately the answer to these questions are both no. Only cold hard cash will be accepted at the festival and due to the remote location and size of the festival it is not feasible to install an ATM. You can buy your tickets online in advance with credit/debit cards. There are ATM’s in Bridport which is only a few miles away should you run short of cash.
Smoking is only permitted in the outside areas as per UK law. Both stages are undercover so you will need to step outside to partake in smoking your pipe/cigarette/shisha. Remember to use the ash-trays provided as butts all over the floor is neither pretty or healthy to the soil.
There will be a welfare area staffed by trained first-aiders and there is a fast local first response for any serious health issues.
Yes, as long as they are kept on leads and you clear up after them.
